Shri P.K. Nair was presented FHF’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Film Preservation & Archiving by Shri Amitabh Bachchan at the opening ceremony of the Film Preservation & Restoration School India 2015 in Mumbai on February 22nd, 2015.
“In recognition of a true cinephile, whose love for cinema drove him to devote his life to saving India’s cinematic heritage. If not for his extraordinary dedication to the cause, the work of the early pioneers would have been lost forever. He has truly been the guardian of India’s cinematic legacy”.
