Film Heritage Foundation presented the ‘Champions of Film Heritage Award’ to Chiranjibi Guragain for initiating a digitization project for Nepal’s film heritage. The award was presented by renowned actor Boman Irani at the opening ceremony of the 7th Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India 2022 on Sunday, December 04th, 2022 at Regal Cinema, Mumbai.
“For his dedication to the cause of Nepal’s film heritage and for building on the knowledge and training he has gained as a FIAF scholar at the Film Preservation & Restoration workshops in India by initiating a digitization project for film heritage in Nepal.”
