Film Heritage Foundation presented the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award as a Champion of Cinema’ to eminent film critic, scholar, filmmaker, author and evangelist for Asian cinema Aruna Vasudev for her unwavering lifelong commitment and incredible contribution in championing the cause of Asian cinema around the world. The award was presented by eminent filmmaker, poet and artist Muzaffar Ali and noted actor-director M.K. Raina at the opening ceremony of FHF’s and FIAF’s Biennial Audio-Visual Archival Summer School 2023(BAVASS) on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
